You are Craig Mackail-Smith?
As it happens CMS and his good lady (who I now assume is Barry Fry’s daughter) turned up as perspective buyers to view my parents’ house when they moved a few years ago…

Not surprised in the slightest.
We have a small fanbase - that in itself prior to the new owner was a natural break on our player signings.
All L1 clubs apart from I think Exeter have made a loss.
I’m glad Wrexham & Birmingham are out of it - seriously skewed L1 finances. Huddersfield tried it but have made a £22m loss and seriously under achieved.
Lincoln are a great example- not gone mad with signings and gave Skubala time, just as we should with Duff. How Lincoln will fare in the Championship remains to be seen however as its a big jump.
Pressure is on Wanderers recruitment team this summer - how can both Dodds and Duff not fancy Fink @ £12k/week + whatever we signed him for - huge waste of money.
Fink was injured when Dodds was manager. Only played a few minutes in the Bradford game on the first day of the season.
Agreed. Having one for everything seems rather controlled to me.
Still not as transparent as many would like
Oh well the fees from my accountant will not doubt go up because of this, running 4 small businesses that will soon add up, whilst 2 are very profitable & it will only end up reducing my tax bill; for the other 2 they are break even CICs which in the end will mean they deliver less to the community they are designed to serve. I hope all 4 companies will still be able to avoid the need for an audit as they do now.
Oh & I will be opting not to publish the P&L for any of them.
How much have you set aside for new players?
