For some reason Iāve just started seeing ads again today, and Iām (afaik) a subscriber

Google have decided to reactivate a bunch of features weāve explicitly disabled a number of times causing ads for subscribers. I thought Iād fixed it but might need to do some more poking around - sorry guys!

There is a website, MyIQ, which includes an IQ test purporting to indicate whether you are vulnerable to dementia. Naturally I sought to reassure myself (and I think I āpassedā, if not with flying colours). But I must have inadvertently clicked on to something - possibly payment of a Ā£1 āfeeā for having been given reassurance (!) but that was quite swiftly followed by a āpendingā payment of Ā£29.99 ! Sorting that out, initially with MyIQ and then with the fraud department of Barclays Bank, took quite a few emails and phone calls.
Beware MyIQ.

Thanks for flagging that, sounds like a scummy company. Weāll block them from being able to show ads, sorry about the hassle.
