Sandro Lomtadze is on hudl as a Wycombe Wanderers Youth Academy player, joined July 2025.
Stat tops: what is hudl and why is Sandro Lomtadze not mentioned as part of the WWFC youth squad when all the other Kinetic players are mentioned on the club’s website?
F.A.O. Oxford Blue - many thanks.
Given the other announcements regarding Kinetic on social media and academy profiles on club website, I can’t find his name unless I’m missing something.
Could be anything from him just training with us to him overstating, also potential eligibility issues with being properly on the books, wouldn’t worry about it until he’s anywhere near the first team if he ever is. It’s MLs train set now , wouldn’t be the first time an owner got his kids involved in a kick about.
Looking at Plymouth Twitter, all the goals came in the first half and Nsemi Bassega equalised for us. In a preview of the game, Argyle Head Coach Jamie Lowry said:
“They’ve gone strong with their recruitment and have recruited a lot of good players. Some who are a little older, and they also have a mixture of backgrounds, with some being under-16s, some who have played men’s football, and also a couple of third-year scholars to support their programme.”
Ben Gladwin has joined as an academy coach today. Lots of local ties having played for Burnham, Marlow, and MK, as well as being caretaker manager at the franchise and Crawley.
A 2-0 win at Swindon this morning for the Academy. Again, nothing on WW Academy Twitter but goals were on 15’ and a pen on 37’, according to Swindon Twitter.
This is really weird, as we appear to be putting an enormous amount of money and resources into the academy, but simply can’t be bothered to publish match reports for the academy games.
Does anyone know why we appear to be playing some teams twice in the league and some just once? For example, we recently played Portsmouth’s academy at home, but I can’t see a return fixture.
