An impressive 6188 apparently - 208 from us.
Big bank looks nearly full.
Very impressive turnout from the locals
Got this one badly wrong having based it on their previous midweek home games. Good crowd, fair play, and nice to see them rallying round in tough times. With perhaps even tougher ahead.
Top Twenty for the Total Ctowd: [6188]
Many congratulations to @Monza, Forecaster of the Week on a week when most others were quite a way off. Nobody else was within one hundred. However I think there are forecasters who are close enough to generate large discards to substantially impact scores on the Leaderboard in the washup. Credit is due to all the top half dozen or so for good analysis and swimming against the tide.
Top Twenty One for the Away Crowd [208]
Many congratulations to @Monza again, missing by just two true blues. I guess that there is no way that you are not going to be closest with the Home Crowd attendance too and that is a rare achievement. Almost as good as a win in Europe.
We were much better at getting close to the size of our own away crowd. Twelve others missed by ten or less and as the 5% mark was [10.4] they are all deserve congratulations. It is rare for there to be such a contrast between our accuracy on the two predicted neasures.
So congratulations to @wwfcblue and @PJS who tied for 2nd; @a40, @our_frank and @Ozzie_the_Relaxed who tied for 4th; @MindlessDrugHoover who was 7th; @Mandown and myself who tied for 8th; @Commoner, @Half_Man_Half_Swan and @shitcagowwfc who were equal in 10th place and @glasstotallyfull who came 13th with a miss of ten.
Top Twenty for the Home Crowd: [Calculated 5980]
Many congratulations indeed for a triple sucess - closest on all three measures and to be the only forecaster within one hundred on this measure as well as for the total crowd.
Unsurprisingly this table is very similar to the Total Crowd table as numerically we were mostly very close to the away crowd number.
Collective Performance:
The close underestimate - just nine people - for the away crowd wasn’t that close if you consider it in percentage terms.
We did collectively underestimate the home crowd and therefore the total crowd quite substanitally, although there were notable individual exceptions.
@williwycombe and @wwfcblue both mention it elequently above: credit to the Exeter fans for turning out in impressive numbers when their team might need them and in such weather.
