Attendance Prediction for Reading (a) on Saturday 14th February 12:30 - Match 31 in 25/26

13,730 including 1,750 Chairfolk

14348 with 1843 Chairboys

I have predicted above this post.

14,087 with 1,587 Chairboys

13,565 with 1515 away

14,000 with 1500

13105 given on the BBC. A very poor home attendance for a local derby, the same can be said for the reverse fixture back in August

That will be Sky TV for you. Preferring to show games that a handful of people will watch, paired with shit commentary and damaging EFL clubs

Juat saw 13,105 with 1,682 away fans.

11,423 home fans is poor from them (less the one ejected racist that can’t be counted as a “fan”)

Top Twenty for the Total Crowd: [13,105]

Many congratulations to @ChipsintheAdams who was closest by far with the only prediction that started 131xx.

Congratulations to @Ozzie_the_Relaxed who was the only other forecaster with one hundred.

Top Twenty for the Away Crowd: [1682]

Many congratulations to @DevC who was very close, missing the large number in the away nook by just two.

Congratulations to myself, @Alexo; @MindlessDrugHoover; @SmiroludyBlue; @Glenactico; @our_frank; @Mandown; @Commoner; @a40 and @williwycombe who were all with 5% which was 84.1.

Top Twenty for the Home Crowd: [Calculated 11,423]

Many congratulations to @our_frank who was closest and indeed the only forecaster within one hundred.

Our Collective Performance:

Collectively we overestimated the total crowd by a bit over a thousand, made up of an overestimate of the home crowd by a bit under a thousand and an underestimate of our away crowd by around one hundred. It does seem the fireworks weren’t much of a lure.

It was difficult to predict. Some scores will alter on the Attendance Leaderboard, but I guess not very many. Will probably complete it tomorrow.
