@micra, a player can be subbed but return to the pitch later as a new sub. This is used in the W3 Southern Region League, and lower down the menâs pyramid.
So, subbed on, subbed off and later subbed on again? Having a job to get my head round that but I wonât be watching any B&B matches so I can relax and just look out for reports.
Thanks @StevePeart .
I guess it allows mainly for better fitness and injury management in squads where players are less fit and have less support for getting better.
You can take someone off at the first sign of a niggle, check them over properly over a long break and bring them back on again if ok and needed again later.
At the end of the day, the B&B Senior Cup has very little prize money linked with it so with the games that donât include the EFL teams, most teams lose money from the competition. So having a fixture where they can blend in new players or youth players into the squad can only benefit them?
This is the case in all the W3 league games
Thanks @Gopher but I wonât be watching those matches either. The girls are doing really well but I can barely see them on my iPhone, never mind the ball.
Hungerford play Reading in the other semi-final on Monday 23 March, according to the B & B site.
This is now being played tomorrow night, Tuesday.
An iPad may be a useful investment @micra , or maybe as a birthday present from Mrs Micra?
Or if you have a smart TV you can mirror the image from your phone on to your TV screen for free
Donât think that will work on @micraâs current TV!
I watch all Wycombeâs matches on my Lenoro tablet and itâs absolutely brilliant. Set up by my son-in-law. I didnât know I could mirror images from my phone to the tv. Loads of Wanderers stuff comes up on YouTube, including Matt Cecilâs interviews with Michael Duff, often when Iâm searching for particular programmes, music videos or podcasts. mrs micra has surprised me slightly by taking a shine to James OâBrienâs Full Disclosure podcasts. She likes the guy, as I do, but prefers to read her unmentionable daily newspaper, rather than listen to his LBC show.
How many we taking to Stoke Poges?
Is it on WTV or youtube?
Not being streamed.
Shame.
Apparently, you can hear audio commentary on rebels radio.
Thanks @Mr67 . Only interested in watching, Iâm afraid.
Good luck to the lads.
