When’s the draw?
Tomorrow at 2pm.
A good summary @our_frank. I think it’s good that the boys come up against physical teams, it gives them a taste of what to expect from professional football, something they can’t get from the cosy world of the Youth Alliance League. As I said before, I don’t think Winslow are dirty but they make life uncomfortable for the opposition, get in their face. Their two promotions in three years is the result of physicality and skill. I forgot to mention in the preview that no. 10 Aaron King, who is very physical but also very skillful, was signed by Liverpool at age 16, on a two year scholarship.

Credit to Winslow for switching to Wednesday. Disappointed I couldn’t make it but had been away the previous two nights so it wouldn’t have gone down well with Mrs Midlander if I’d have gone.
Presume we’ll play the academy lads again, horses for courses

Most disappointing, tough assignment for Holmer and a trip for Wycombe that has been made in recent years.

Reading with another bye!
Glad we have not got one, gives the young lads more opportunity against the men’s teams.
