Tomorrow, Sunday, Bucks Men return to white ball cricket when they take part in a three county T20 Super 12s group at Exeter CC.
They take on Wilts at 11am and the winner faces Devon in the afternoon final, to decide who goes through to the grand final at Wormsley on 30th August, along with the other three group winners. Bucks and Wilts finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in their qualifying groups, so play-off to face Devon who topped their group.

Wilts won the toss and elected to bat. They are currently 20-4 off 5 overs. A.Dodds and Pardoe took two wickets each in their opening overs.
Wilts 107 all out off 18.3 overs. All six bowlers in the wickets, Teddy Fleming 3-10 off 2.3 overs.
Bucks 108-7 off 15.2 overs and win by three wickets. The rush to get the runs knocked off quickly resulted in wickets falling.
Bucks will play Devon after lunch to decide who goes through to the grand final. It’s scheduled for 3pm, not sure if it can start sooner.
Devon won the toss and have elected to bat.
Devon made 178-7 off their 20 overs, a run rate of 8.9. A.Dodds 3-13 off 3 overs.
Bucks 92 all out off 13.3 overs, Devon won by 86 runs.

Bucks Women are away to Staffs today, in a 50 league match.

I can’t get my head round this, surely Staffs won. They changed the scorecard to Bucks winning the toss and batting.
Bucks Women beat MCC by 7 wickets in a friendly at Wormsley today.
Bucks Women will play Northants Steelbacks Women in a T20 match at the Cinch County Ground today, at 2pm. Free entry, this precedes the Gateway T20 League Final at 6pm. Both teams will play 12 in this friendly game.

Tomorrow Bucks men start their final Eastern Division 1 Championship 3 day match, against Cambridgeshire at Peterborough Town CC. The group is finely poised as Staffs host Suffolk at Stafford CC at the same time. The group winners will face either Devon or Wilts in the grand final, with Wilts hosting Devon in a winner takes all match starting tomorrow.
A 12-player squad includes two new players. Batter Jack Bates joins from Geddington CC and Northants 2nd XI. Opening bowler Liam Bulteel joins from High Wycombe CC. Bertie Foreman has returned to Kent for the rest of the season.

Suffolk are really going for the win and maximum batting points, at Stafford they are 195/2 (32) at lunch, a run rate of 6.09.
Close on day one, Bucks are 71/1 (19) in reply to Cambridgeshire’s 291 all out (89.5).
Bucks made 308 all out off 89.4 overs, with Matt Pardoe top scoring with 72.
In their second innings, Cambs have just been bowled out for 66 off 35 overs, Pardoe taking 5 wickets for 7 runs off 8 overs. Bucks need 50 runs to win.
Bucks have 7 bonus points in this match, Suffolk have 8 in their match at Stafford, so are three points ahead. That match has to end in a draw for Bucks to finish top, assuming they can get these 50 runs. Currently Suffolk are 193/3 in their second innings, 238 runs ahead.
Bucks end the day on 33/1 off 14 overs, 17 more runs needed. Tricking batting conditions it seems.
Now it’s down to the Staffs v Suffolk match. If Suffolk don’t win then Bucks are champions.
Suffolk have the tricky job of choosing when to declare, to allow time to bowl Staffs out, but to give them something to chase, otherwise they will try and bat the day out.
