Is that the dullest draw possible ?
Not a lot of external excitement being generated.
Whatever the outcome, I hope the players prove they understand what playing in a Mike Dodds team means.
Iām not sure Mike Dodds knows what playing in a Mike Dodds team means.
Thatās the worry
Results can do one
Thing is, arenāt we the glamour team now?
I imagine the Wigan forums are teeming with supporters panicking about failing to secure a ticket to witness The Project first hand.
The sort of draw I expect under Dudds
Are we actually blaming Dodds for the draw now? Is it Stockwell or Riceās fault we have to go all the way to Plymouth over the festive period?

I donāt think there is much of a mechanism for clubs to complain about fixtures, but I thought it would be worthwhile kicking up a fuss about two local games in August and then a bloody long trip over Xmas. Maybe the Data says Plymouth in December is like playing in La Manga?
Feel the same about this draw as I did Swansea last season, I donāt think itās a bad draw.
We now have the squad to completely mix it up in these games and give other players opportunities in a competitive environment.
Admittedly itās not one for the fans but that Swansea game served us really well last season.
I hate when draws are weighted and this team canāt play that team and big clubs are protected. An actual fair cup draw might end up being a rare thing. You take who you get, If itās too far donāt go.
Ideally wanted the weakest team left, a huge team away, or Reading or Oxford for local stakes.
Instead itās a little underwhelming but hopefully a decent chance of sneaking through to the 4th round for only the 2nd Time in our history.
We are the fourth closest club to Plymouth. Really wouldnāt be a good idea to schedule the closest two (Exeter and Cardiff) over a public holiday for safety reasons. They have scheduled the third and fourth closest. What else do you want them to do?
Blimey..I might be very sceptical about the Ricicle Works, but thatās pushing it a bit
