I just can’t understand the mentality of seeing your team win in such an important game and your first thought being to goad (or worse) the opposition fans.

A few in the FB groups have posted replies from Charlton’s safety team, where they’ve said they’re identifying and banning the offenders.

There was also at least one that seemed to try and justify things by saying that despite having security pitch side them scoring an 83rd minute goal sent their fans into jubilation.
I’m pretty sure most winning goals at anytime send fans into jubilation but that doesn’t excuse throwing flares into the ground at/near children.
Nor the lack of checking people before the game for pyros
