A special thanks to @micra for keeping everyone, especially myself included, fully informed regarding the weather. On the question of whether falling rain and rising temperatures mean rising crowd I guess the optimists amongst the supporters will be encouraged and the others discouraged. There is slightly more optimism on here than there used to be so I will go -

As it stands at breakfast time on match day, I will set off fairly shortly as in common with the Lincoln fans I don’t have a fast train to Kings Cross today and there appear to also be some local signal failues!
