There are some on here who think the Scottish premiership is the same as step 9 of English football so won’t think we’ve let a good player go away.
Yet there’s an acceptance that Dan Casey and CBM are two of our better player..
Looks like Fink has played a part in Dundee’s late winner
Spoke too soon 1-1

This is a take on Lowry…
And MO’N has pretty much won the title again.
We’ll have none of those ‘genuine luxury type of players’ round here thanks.
If he keeps it up though, what the heck do we do?!
Depends on his contract. Im guessing its up at the end of the Season?
If he’s happier in McJockland then best he stays there.
He was born in Scotland
Happy 19th birthday today to pacey left back Arthur Gregory who has been getting very complimentary comments on his performances for Slough Town in National League South.
I understand that he has bulked up substantially from the slip of a boy who was substituted at half time in the match away to Northampton early last season.
On Tuesday evening Declan Skura was subbed at half time. I’ve not been able to ascertain whether he was injured (or whether Walsall were reacting to a phone call from Wycombe!!) but his first half stats were infinitely better than those of the number 5 (Burke) who replaced him.
I’m very much in favour of three central defenders to reflect the adjustments needed as a result of Dan Harvie’s untimely injury.
As long as the third central defender (Hagelskjaer) plays at left back I’m in agreement.
By definition a third central defender isn’t a left back. Anders Hagelskjaer made a reasonably good fist of playing there on Tuesday, apparently - technical issues both on Sky and WanderersTV restricted the amount of coverage I was able to watch - and his throw-ins were a bonus but a few on here have suggested that he lacks the pace to play left back.
He’s a player for the championship. Plus, is it another case like wareham and mothersille where the location was an issue, just too far from home?
I would love to see him stay but at the moment Woodrow is the better player in that position.
Good old Satnav…
Glad to hear my comments in commentary about him having bulked up into a man @micra ![]()
I think we sometimes suffer for League 1 being a division where the standard is now extremely high but it is also incredibly physical and atrociously officiated.
There are some players who I think look better in other divisions where the overall standard is the same or higher, but the refereeing is better, minimising the extent to which good players are wrestled out of the game.
We must have 10-15 games a season where you turn up knowing it will essentially be a glorified fight with the occasional outbreak of football. The referee will give fouls at random, book one player on 85 minutes and we’ll lose 1-0.
I’m afraid there’s more than a ring of truth in that diagnosis.
