McNeilly for me.

Easy pick today. McNeilly had a big impact off the bench and looked a real threat.

Leahy had a decent game. Bell worked hard and had some good moments at least. Lowery tried and eventually did make something happen. Not many other positives

Big claim, but I think McNeilly might turn out to be the most exciting player we’ve had since Eze. His close control is phenomenal, even at high speed.

Totally with you on that one :+1::+1:.

Leahy for me again. Without his relentless graft, we could’ve been dead and buried in that game. The amount of dross play he cleared up in the first half was incredible.

Could easily have gone with McNeilly though. Gamechanger.

From what we’ve seen so far I would probably agree. He has pace of course, but also looks a very powerful runner as well, which is a necessity to make it at the top level. He also looks very, very good with the ball, and twists and turns effortlessly. In that interview he did after the Wigan game he was also really polished - very confidently and well answered questions. He looks the the real deal, hopefully he can fulfil that massive potential like Eze has.

I gave it to Leahy, who I don’t always have that much time for as a player, but I’m willing to accept that successive managers keep playing him, so they may just know more than I do - big of me, I know.

McNeilly looks very exciting though, and deserves winning the overall award.

I said during the match that I can’t look at our squad and see many real game-changers (at least in a good way) but McNeilly definitely fulfilled that role, and surely must be in line for a start soon.

Whilst not a MOTM performance, I thought once Bell had moved to the wing he looked so much better. A little lightweight at times but he made things happen and a lot of our good work came down that right handside.

Duff has a big decision to make, as we clearly look better in a back four with the width being provided by wingers and not wing backs.
