Man of the Match: Leyton Orient (H)

Fred. I think he’s loving Dufball and it shows. Long may it continue.

I did wonder for a moment who Fred Duff was.

Yes, the whole team has been totally reenergised and transformed by Michael Duff but none so dramatically as Fred. Long may it continue. He is the rightful successor to Matt Bloomfield as Mr Wycombe, having enjoyed a whole decade playing for Wycombe apart from one or two brief forays elsewhere..

Fred definitely MoM for me, and eating plenty of humble pie as I was pretty scathing of his efforts earlier in the season.

Tho credit to other especially Anders, his ability on the ball and to pick a pass is a joy to watch

I think most of us were thinking that Fred wasn’t up to his usual standards earlier in the season. However since Michael Duff came in Fred has been on fire.

I don’t think there are enough portions of humble pie to go round because I don’t doubt that most of us were very disappointed with Fred’s performances.

There are so many areas of substantial improvement in performances as a whole over the last six weeks or so. Another example which stands out for me is the transformation of Captain Jack from being a defender who tended to pass the ball forward (and often into touch!) from quite deep in our half to someone who often surges forward and puts in crosses or has a shot at goal. The attacking potential down that right hand side has improved immensely. Likewise the Harvie/Bell axis on the left. These are very good times.
