Come on Wycombe! Nearly at Birmingham on train. Excited.
Due to land at Gatwick by 12.30. Baggage collection, walk to car by 1.30. Home around kick off. ( assuming its 3pm?)
Divorce proceedings 5pm, if ive left the wife with 3 suitcases to unpack.

Where did you go, we’ve been to Trogia a few times near Split. Lovely clear sea but getting very expensive since they joined the Euro

Been in Rabac, near Pula. The sea is really clear. Family enjoyed snorkeling. Me, not so much.

Thanks Twizz, I would probably have arrived at Heathrow not knowing about the issues later this afternoon unless told on the flight.

Rookie. Carry the suitcases in, put them straight by the washing machine and start unloading them directly into the wash. Have a think on the plane what you have most of (darks/colours/whites etc) and pick that load to put on.
Put it in a cycle that takes the longest.
You now have an hour and a half to watch the football safe in the knowledge you have started the washing.
For bonus points, pile up the rest of the washing into neat piles ready for the next loads
Also “let’s not worry about cooking any dinner tonight, I’ll get a takeaway in”

I really wanted to go up there and have a weekend on the beach, but sadly the timings didn’t work with other things. One way ticket to Vipienne booked instead.
