Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we had a quality, experienced centre-forward like Sam Vokes he could have learnt from…

The question is are we a good bad team or a bad good team.

Sometimes I think are we a “Team” at all?

True neutral under Duff. Chaotic evil under Dodds

Some posters have never been coming back until every manager and most players have been sacked for years.

And years.

At least trev does disappear until we lose.

Andrew Howard’s got a dairy farm. Nice and local and I am sure he will let us use it for free.

Yes someone li,e Caulley Woodrow would fit the bill.

Isn’t that also the basis of gambling?……… Which is why I don’t.

A staple of many a student battle of the bands.

I do think it is a common thing amongst football fans to write off the squad/manager after a run of a few bad results/performances over a couple of weeks, forgetting how the team were beforehand. I’d like to think this is just a blip and can be explained by illness in the squad leading to the players being lethargic in games. Hopefully a week with no games and concentrating on training they will re-discover the form from a few weeks ago and we will turn it around on Saturday. Although if we lose on Saturday and play badly again, I may well be with the rest of you writing the team/season off.

A little run of games definitely quickly changes opinion.

Early season it was - squad is poor, manager is poor

Dodds went, Duff in - immediate upturn - squad is alright, manager was poor

Duff carried on the run - squad is actually good

Latest poor run - back to squad was as poor as originally thought

We’ll see what the view is in 6 games

I think Duff is good, the first XI are good, but I have concerns about almost everyone outside of that.

I worry that the culture in the dressing room and elsewhere around the club is poor and contributing to us not kicking on.

A brilliant summary of what most fans are thinking.

I’m inclined to agree it’s a neat trick to go from a club with a fantastic team spirit both on and off the pitch to a toxic culture in less than 12 months. Not many could achieve that.

Toxic culture? Explanation please.

Can’t see much toxicity. We just need the management to make some tough and correct decisions on recruitment and outgoings, but that’s what they’re paid to do. There are now too many players who will never get near the first team, which is bound to be bad for squad morale.

What evidence is there of a toxic culture? This seems to be another cliche trotted out when form is bad, ‘the dressing room has been lost etc’ and quickly forgotten when form picks up.
