I don’t think Abbot will be fit to start, although I’d like him to. Will need at least one more run out off the bench after so long out. I think Magnus may get one final chance to impress (what are the other options)?

The only comfort I can take from this is that Westergaard not even making the squad is 100% guaranteed proof that we’ve already moved him on or are finalising the deal and don’t want to damage the sweet, sweet merchandise by even having him risk bum splinters from sitting on the bench.
Otherwise we’d be proper mentalists to not bother with midfield cover, right?
