Match Day Thread: Cardiff (A) 17th Mar 2026

Injury or just not included in match day squad?

Injured from what I have heard. Don’t have any more detail. Not that he would play much anyway. Think I’d rather have Stones.

Henderson’s passing is a bit off at the moment.

Think I’d rather have gall stones.

Wow Cardiff are a really good passing side aren’t they.

Pleasing that other than the first couple of minutes (glaring miss by them) we haven’t looked particularly troubled at the back (including a number of headers won by Taylor).

Hendo is way off it so far tonight

So is Morley

men against boys so far

The replays on Wanderers TV are starting to get annoying!

Presumably controlled either by Cardiff or Sky, but they are constantly re playing them over significant passages of play.

Good clearance Connor.

Oh, wait, that was in their box.

They’re incredibly irritating. Over and over and over again

Oooooooooohhhhhhh

Definitely a Red against Osho, he absolutely clattered Henderson

Well done Carl Brook for being strong enough to give that decision.

Now can we make something of the extra man or will they be lifted by it?

Cardiff’s corners: Norris came for everything that half, pretty much.

Cardiff are good, which isnt a surprise.

Im still unsure on Morley and Henderson, but, with the 3, we have tried to keep and pass the ball, but the CF doesn’t get the support, which was always likely the case.

Harris, again doesn’t offer much on the left, but tracks and fights.

Defence have been fine, Norris still gives my the sh&ts.

Clear red card, can’t complain.

I’m not sure why Cardiff City are playing with so little pace and tempo but it’s working in our favour. This is not the game I was expecting and there’s hope we can take advantage of the extra man.

Cardiff have been excellent out of possession. Very good ball recovery. Haven’t actually done much with it though.
