Embarrassing comment regarding Bloomfield. With fans like you we don’t deserve legends like him giving 20 years of service.
We’ll always have the memories of excellence!
He should get the reception of a club legend, given that he is a club legend.
He took us from freescoring to notscoring, so whose team was he making it into?
What’s JJ doing on Charlton TV?
Even Glasshalffull would struggle to be that optimistic
This isn’t wild thing football anymore thats for sure…
Shit fan
It’s lucky the season has now ended, because we were never scoring another goal in 24/25 no matter how many more matches were left and seeing Wycombe 0 was starting to really affect me.
Great atmosphere tonight, fans tremendous. Great defending, great work rate, nothing going forward, poor touches in midfield throughout. Simons I thought was particularly poor, but generally players not on their toes to keep possession after the turnover. No proper left back against the quality of Charlton’s wingers doesn’t help. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have some attacking players like that in the side.
Seconded
Dan the man with a - no actually he just has no clue. Dodds, the only bloke that would touch the job when they knew how toxic the whole set up was at the club. Rice, please just sack Dodds and then go as well.
We don’t need to fight amongst ourselves.
Opinions are split on MBs departure.
But he’s very much departed.
Next season we need a new manager.
Charlton haven’t won anything yet, all they’ve done is beat Wycombe 1-0 over 180 minutes.
Looking forward to getting at least a point off them next season..
C’mon Orient.
There is genuine intrigue over the next couple of days - namely, will Dan dig his heels in over Dodds as “his hire”? Or will he do the right thing (if only to maybe save his own neck by avoiding a potential banana skin of a season)?
And new chairman
Losing to Nathan Jones really is the perfect way to end this atrocious second half of a season.
Quite the time to concede the stupidest goal we’ve given away all season.
The last two games have been better, and i actually like Mike Dodds as a person, but he is out of his depth.
“How To divide a fanbase and take a club from the highest highs to the lowest lows in half a season”
He wont be sacked. Calm down.
Plenty of heart and spirit out there tonight but bloody hell we are so average going forwards. I can barely remember a time we strung 4 or 5 passes together - if you constantly give the ball away you’re never going to score and will eventually concede. And what a weak goal to concede that was.
Dodds of course has to take some responsibility for this but the players do as well. There were so many basic errors out there tonight that can’t be pinned on the Manager.
Massive summer ahead and a lot of work needed with this squad to both trim it and improve it. But the pressure will be a necessity to start next season well. If we’re still this bad after 5 games it’s going to get absolutely toxic.
