It’s just utterly clueless coaching. Same against Exeter. If you’re losing in the dying stages you go direct. You do anything you can to possibly salvage things. You don’t play robotic sideways and backwards passing football. If Dodds or anyone else thinks that they are just wrong.

Who was the sage on here who before the season started said we’d lose 8 of our first 10 league games?
If you are still with us - respect. Even I didn’t think we would be quite as bad as we have become.
What worries me is that I don’t think we have yet reached as low as we are going to be capable of.

We’re close but not yet there you feel.
We don’t tend to lose heavily, as sometimes it’s that real heavy one that gets the board’s finger twitching.

I’m beginning to come to this opinion myself. The OG has decided that this is the way we are doing things, including I suspect the blooding of the academy players in the cup games, and MD has said “Yes, I’ll do it your way”.
They will keep doing it this way no matter how much we, the fans, dislike it. They want to see if the model works. For them it doesn’t matter what the outcome is for WWFC, they just want to see what data it generates so they can refine it and go again.
I honestly think we could not win a league game all season and they won’t change a single thing so long as Dobby keeps saying “Yes” and plays the academy players every now and then.

Agree. I suspect Rice is already speaking to potential replacements. I think Dodds will get Saturday, but I think there’s a good chance he goes afterwards whatever happens.
BTW if it’s true Rice walked off smiling at F/T it feels incomprehensible. He should own his part for what we’ve become and should be embarrassed / angry / anything but happy about where we are. Really does feel like we’re now a test-bed for a group of people who really don’t care. 10 years of progression is being wiped away before our eyes.

I agree. With the injuries we had last season - eg. when Low and Taylor were not available, we knew that Bradley/Skura/Hartridge/Taff could step in and do a job.
If Taylor and Hagelskjaer (who are not as good as what we had anyway) got injured - WHO STEPS IN???
Unless these new signings get us firing, I can feel a protest against Rice coming on…..

Those saying Dodds should get 10 games this season before being replaced, well Saturday is the 10th game. But let’s wait to lose another one before sacking him…

Taylor, Hagelskjaer, Allen and Casey are all good defenders so I suspect which ever two don’t play. They are just being poorly coached.

The turnaround on here from the days of saying “move on” to everyone who warned us what was being done to the club is quite a sight to behold. A welcome sight though.

Disagree. Three of those four look absolutely dreadful as a minimum.
Individually, the squad looks great. I have no concerns a decent head coach/manager would get the team going and becoming very competitive.

Stood very near. Did not look remotely bothered. Edvard lost his head and stropped off on the whistle. As I said before Rice,Parry, Stroud and the usual suspects looking relatively happy with their lot.

No way they are sacking him yet . They will give him a few games with the new signings . One could argue there were development players out there , Fink isn’t fit and it wasn’t the first eleven (whatever the hell that looks like ) , but it was actually worse than Stevenage !
As soone as they get to the half way line there is zero movement further up the pitch and it’s sideways and backwards again and again . They lose possession again and again and the movement off the ball is woeful .
The players are visibly lacking in confidence now and this will only get worse with poor result after poor result .
I really wanted it to work with Dodds and I hate hoofball but he has to mix it up a bit . Everyone we play against just presses us , even if we beat the press we get half way and then back again
