Well, as crap a competition as it is, it’s hardly likely that we’re going to be going great guns in the league this season, so perhaps a cup run isn’t such a terrible idea, despite all the sparse crowds and unappealing ties it will take to get there.
I’m thankful that at least by the time we play Gillingham (fingers crossed that GA is recovered by then but not sure if that’s realistic) we avoided the prospect of having an entire evening of “Dodds Out” v “Come back GA” chants.
Harvie aside, I would quite happily have that team for the Wigan XI. Let’s see what they can do; clearly Duff wants the players to earn their shirt. And this is a big chance for some of these lads. Would love to see a big performance from Casey, I feel deep down he’s a rough diamond.

It’s also possible though that Duff thinks those are the players not good enough for the league.
if he does then that is massively worrying about Duff, this is my view is a stronger 11 than what started on Saturday

Fink needs to get himself a goal tonight. Or at least start running a bit.
CBM looks really good, so does Anders, and Skura.
I can still see a lot of potential with Magnus, and Fink. Both will adapt to English football.
I’m enjoying watching a lineup that doesn’t include Taylor.
