Gteat to see Bradley back in the squad
Shocked by both how strong that line up is and how attacking it is. Clearly going for it.
Fink back on the bench. Weāll soon see if you were right!
It feels like every week someone has definitively written a player off as they havenāt been involved then they get back involved shortly after.
If Football League World is to be believed Alex Lowry is our highest paid player on a reported Ā£9500 pw. Beggars belief given he hasnāt played all season ![]()

2.50 a pint in the King Street Social Tap! Might not bother going to the game
Given his history with Huddersfield Duff was never going to play an experimental XI
I think he has had some injury up and downs, and tge CBM / AM partnership is pretty good. But, its become quite noticeable that even when Henderson is first, he doesnāt seem keen on having him with AM.
Iām not sure we have had a Am/Cbm/ EH starting midfield, which i think could work, especially with Fred and Vidi wide.
It seems absolutely mad - and you have to hope we only signed him on an 18month deal, not 2 1/2 years! Otherwise thereās every chance we have to subsidise an exit.
The same source as yours has Finky on Ā£5.5k a week, which stil sounds mad for the constribution to the cause, but Iāve heard someone on here and someone at the game last week quote Ā£12k! Canāt be true surely.
They are not right. They might not be wrong about Lowry wage but Fink is on more.
Only amplifies my implied point about what is a woeful recruitment record.
Add Berry, Tilley and Westergaard to the list (I could add others) and it makes Duffs control of summer recruitment even more critical. It must be Duff led not data led.
As long as we donāt have to rename him Data Duff.
Duff will have a say in all signings, like the January window. But, he should only have a say and all signings should be for a certain style of play.
Im very much against managers having full control on signings, we know Duff has previous for ducking into a bigger job if offered.
Also play offs are still possible. COYB
In his latest interview, it looks like he feels a bit let down by some of the players. They probably know who they are. The message is, show me what you can do if you want to be here next season.
Need to get Alfie May sent off as early as possible!
Norris nowhere near that corner.
Iāve seem a couple of comments like this recently.
The list of managers who were desired elsewhere, who stayed loyal to a lower league team for their whole career must be fairly low mustnāt it?
I think we were very blessed that bigger clubs turned their nose up at Ainsworth due to his style of football.
Many of the traits of our old Ainsworth teams are now very trendy. Loading the six yard box and bundling the goalkeeper, feigning head injuries, goalkeeper cramping up, low blocks.
This was all considered old fashioned, but now itās in vogue.
We are going to get battered.
