Reading’s win over Stevenage in midweek saw them jump up to 12th. We could leapfrog them into 11th with a win today, depending on other results.
But the players don’t need to be thinking about that, as always focus on the process, not the outcome.
They should be focused on the outcome. Winning is everything.

Maybe he’s just being held back for the Tinpot game v Gills on Tuesday.
My guess is that we will field as many fringe players as we can in that game, even though it’s a must-win if we want to stay in the competition.
You;d hope that all the sidelined players would want to play out of their skins to compete for a league start, but it rarely seems to pan out that way, and in fairness if we put out a full “reserve” side, a lot of those players have not played together in a settled XI.
I get a good feeling about today. I’m cataclysmically relaxed.
