Another impressive, down to earth interview from Duff.I sometimes wonder what might have been if Rice had appointed Duff instead of Dodds when Bloomfield left. Could we have gained promotion. Shame we will never know. One thing is certain we would have got closer with a proper Head Coach/ Manager.

Funnily enough, no one minds when managers talk stats when they’re winning games.
No-one cares Duffsy likes a little neck scratch and look away from the camera either…because he’s winning games.
I’d like to just test him wearing some 1990s cargo pants to see if it’s the same deal though…

I don’t think too many of us were unduly troubled by the facial tics. Much more the lack of clarity or conviction in what he had to say. But, above all, his failure to say that he wanted to see fast attacking football which was probably the most important comment made by Michael Duff within days of his arrival and and one which the players must have been relieved and delighted to hear.

I hope they send him on a private jet out to Kazakhstan to meet ML and give him a contract for everything he asks for.
I appreciate its easy to say things like this when we’re on the run we’re currently on, but you just know, when we have the inevitable dip, it will be temporary under his leadership.
