He hasn’t interviewed for this. Mowbray worked with him before so brought him in.
Hes obviously a well respected coach, he was just really bad with us.

How Dodds keeps getting jobs is beyond me. He must interview bloody well. Certainly didn’t see any evidence of great coaching when he was with us.

That makes a bit more sense.
He’s probably good at doing what the Head Coach asks of him, but probably not so good at implementing his own ideas. A bit like Brian Clough’s assistant Peter Taylor at Notts Forest and Derby

To be fair Taylor’s job was to find the players for Cloughie to shout at and insult…I mean meld into a formidable team…and then console them. Not sure he was a tracksuit man.
Perhaps Forest couldn’t afford another track suit!

I’ve just deleted my post. Think it was a wind up as the fanbase is expecting an announcement at 8pm. I’m still paying the price for interacting with the fanbase after the Fred announcement and the algorithm keeps on putting Reading news on my timeline

A well respected coach but out of his depth as a Head Coach, as should have been apparent from the stats during his two stints as caretaker Head Coach at Sunderland.
I see that Bayo has become a shareholder at David Stockdale’s club FC Farsley. I always got the impression that they were great mates. But thinking about it I got that impression about all that team.
