7890, 1234
7166 I think
they won’t be back and some of the regulars may not be back either , huge opportunity missed by the club
Thought it was just me and my Apple update.
The BBC says 7166 this morning. That outcome table on its way today. If anyone sees an away crowd figure please could you post on here and say what the source is.
792 Steve. Peterborough website.
It’s a real shame for the 6,400 Wycombe fans that yesterday was a big disappointment, although I guess we should know what to expect with community/quid-a-kid days.
Why can’t we do these promotions on a warm spring day, rather than a cold wintery one, when the team is playing well?
Thanks @DevC for the away numbers.
@Twizz - I agree - it was a real shame that the ball never seems to go in the right net when we do a cheap tickets promotion, the home crowd yesterday was 6374 and for the Cardiff game it was 5529.
I am sure we will put it right sometime. I am optimistic enough to think maybe we will beat Peterborough in the playoffs this season. ![]()
Top Twenty for the Total Crowd: [7166]
Many congratulations to @MFHBlue, not only the closest but the only forecaster to be closer than @DevC! Forecaster of the Week on a difficult week to predict.
Welcome to @KeithBarrettsTache predicting for the first time to my knowledge, you were a respectable mid table 25th for the total crowd and you featured in the top twenty for the away and home top twenty tables below.
As well as congratulations to @DevC, @Erroll_Sims: @PJS; @Twizz; @wwfcblue; @Robin: @ChipsintheAdams and @FromeFromeFromeFrome all must be congratulated for being within one hundred.
Lots of forecasters too in the 100 - 200 bracket so I expect there will be movement on the Tour de Season Table, possibily not quite so dramatic as last game because there are not quite so many who are very close.
Top Twenty for the Away Crowd: [792]
It doesn’t look like the cheap tickets had much of an effect on the away support, but we may recoup the loss of revenue on their sales this year if we do play them again next season. I guess if we did meet them in the playoffs semis both games would be a complete sell out anyway.
Anyway again -
Many congratulations to @Ashmeadowings for being closest with a single digit miss.
Congratulations to @NewburyWanderer; @our_frank; @Monza; @wwfcblue and @Robin, plus myself - we were all within 5% [39.6] of the away support .
Top Twenty for the Home Support: [Calculated 6374]
Many congratulations to @wwfcblue who was closest and one of only two forecasters whose calculated prediction started 63xx.
Congratulations too to those who were also within one hundred, namely @micra; @MindlessDrugHoover; @Robin and @BSE.
A special mention for @wwfcblue and @robin who made onto all three congratulation rolls of fame this week.
Our Collective thinking:
Together we missed the total crowd by a small overestimate and the away crowd by a sizeable overestimate, the home crowd figure was therefore a respectable underestimate.
The Tour de Season Updates will probably be tomorrow (Monday).
Apologies for chipping @ChipsintheAdams score. I do my own manual calculations some weeks and I know I had jumped from 7th to 4th which is why I spotted the error.
Mr Chips guessed 7101 but you have him down at 7107 which means his score should be 78.3.
Thanks again, the competition is quite often a highlight when things don’t go quite so well on the pitch.
Quite correct and no problem.
Well played @ChipsintheAdams and sharp work with spotting the mistake @wwfcblue. Thank you both and apologies to both of you.
Here is the alteration to the P’boro match top twenty table:
and here is the consequent revised portion of the Leaderboard, which remains one of the tightest spots ……
