It might have been me! Love popcorn. They used to sell it at Adams Park, Toffee flavoured popcorn.
Bring back the popcorn.

It has gone up to £6.50 now. £13 for two pints at the MK game!
I kinda thinking I already knew that…was probably just blanking it out.
Most of my lot are bus wankers coming in from the far flung places such as Fraggle, Risboro’ and Thame so no choice but to meet up at the ground. Bloody steep to drink there now mind.
Try going out for a drink in Oxford. Anything between £6.80 - £7.20 is standard now. Last time I went to the O2 Academy in Oxford it was £8.50 a pint.
Isn’t everyone doing coke at halftime?
Not at £3.15 for a 500ml bottle!
I understand that, for some reason, dogs’ paws smell of popcorn. When I heard that on James O’Brien’s Mystery Hour and lots of people phoned in to confirm the truth of it, I regretted that we no longer have a resident dog to put it to the test. So, come on dog owners, check it out and report back asap with your findings.
Slow news day.
PS Since having Covid I have no sense of smell. Cuts both ways!
“Burnham has a vision of all professional football grounds having self serve cocaine dispensers fitted by 2028”
More likely the Hokey Cokey if we’re 3-0 up at halftime. Putting the remaining three tiers in the terrace at considerable risk.
Or perhaps a line of Conga.
Football is an emotional game to support.
Having loads of fans with booze ready just ensures a soaking.
At least it can transfer that fear when you clock someone with a lidless hot drink behind you…begging your own team not to score until they finish!
I see it slightly differently. I’d rather the government didn’t f**k anything else up so if they spend time endlessly talking about this they can do less damage elsewhere.
Remember when 24 hour drinking was meant to bring in a refined and temperate approach to the demon drink? Instead it turned most town centres into foggy eyed hellscapes at 3am during the nighttime economy’s heyday.
I’d rather we did something about the dreadful tea, coffee and hot chocolate than introduce booze to the menu. Enjoy your pre and post match beverages and give it a rest for the 90+ minutes.
I see it the other way.
Alcohol has been drunk pre game, at half time and at full time for years and it’s only been stopped when in view of the pitch and for 2 45 minute periods.
Those that want a drink would be more inclined to binge/down there pint - or pints - in a relatively short window and therefore be a bigger issue, than those that would spread the same amount of drinks over a longer period.
and £3.50 for a half pint.
It’s 3 quid for a cup of tea!
Absolute joke
£3 for a tea bag, some hot water and a splash of milk .
You can buy a box of 40 Tea bags for £2.25
You can buy 100 Typhoo tea bags at Iceland for £1.
A cup of tea anywhere is one of the greatest beverage scandals going. And unlike a cafe, you’ve already paid for your spot in the ground, so there’s not even the excuse that you’re partly paying to use the facilities.
Not as bad as some Swedish microwank I once had that worked out at £20 a pint.
And that was conveniently forgotten about as the person in question was an ex Wasps player and employee of the RFU.
If that had been an ex footballer and FA employee he would have been vilified in the press and banned for months/years.
