Season Tickets

Have I read the last line of the blurb on the website correctly?

You CANNOT buy a season ticket on the terrace for a 13 year child, and looking at matchday ticket prices they cant go in the terrace at all? Same for 14 year olds too.

I was literally bought into everything until that, as personally I don’t want to be sitting up in the FA and my lad enjoys the terrace.

Fucks sake!

Update, my mate has already emailed the club and the Trust for confirmation as the club’s own T&C’s currently published on the website state that the minimum height is 140cm and minimum age is 12!

Could become interesting this.

That was the rule for this past season as well I believe. Not that it stopped some under 12’s getting in as I know at least 1

Just to let you guys know that children’s season tickets can’t be used by anyone for the evening fixtures. This is a cut from the email that I’ve got from the club after asking them that question

That’s fair enough. There are so many midweek games now, you’d get adults buying them purely to attend those games.

You also don’t get the free kids shirt post 16th June so anyone waiting for a seat to potentially come up near them after that renewal period be aware you will lose out on getting the shirt.

I was wondering the same thing.

With the great kids deal I’m tempted to get my first season ticket in 30 years, in the terrace, for myself and my 13 year old. But if I’m reading it correctly, I can’t?

Seems like they might miss out on quite a few potential new season ticket holders. Has anyone checked with the club?

Whoops!

My friends response from the club was that it would be ok, but it’s not what their T&Cs or club communication says.

It doesn’t really surprise me though!

The Valley End thing is ‘minimum age of 12,’ so you should be good.

very strange that club wont allow 3 u14 in adult ST, there is no option to even pay full proce for u14, surely missing a trick to get more through the turnstiles, i understand cant do 3 ar £25 however surely should be a option to pay more for the 3rd child ticket?

I’m sure if you call th club they’d let you buy a third child ticket at full price?

would have to pay for a adult price , i did ask.

The minimum age restriction in the terrace is not new and has been in place for maybe 10 years.

When I first started bringing my children they were 5 and 7 years old and had season tickets in the terrace for the first couple of years. I don’t recall there ever being any problems with them being there. Then one year I found they were banned from the terrace due to introduction of an age limit and I couldn’t renew their tickets there, so had to switch to the family stand for a few seasons.

I think they should raise it to about 40

This suggests you can buy 3+ child tickets per 1 adult ticket, but only 2 will be eligible for free shirts:

“ To qualify for the free home shirt, simply purchase a child’s season ticket or commence a child’s subscription by 16th June, at a ratio of 1 or 2 children per 1 adult or senior. It is possible to buy 3+ child season tickets per 1 adult or senior, but only 2 shirts will be provided”

As per the article of the club website.

Does anyone know which seats in the Frank Adams are at risk of getting wet due to the leak on the roof?

I’m planning to move from the terrace in order to get a child’s ST with my son. The second row looks a good option in Block R.

I sit in the front row in block R and don’t get wet, so you should be ok in the second row

I’m in block P and it’s all good there.

Avoid the left hand end - as you look at the stand from the pitch - of row C. Wetter than an otter’s pocket.
