We have

As always anyone can predict - there is one thing I use this platform to suggest. It comes from a whole Depot full of personal experience - I had a lucky escape and friends and peeple dear to me did not - if you are contemplating a test for one of the varieties of cancer - please go for it, or at least check if you are eligable. Everyone is precious and fellow Wycombe supporteres areespecially so.
But first don’t forget to predict on here -

Following that track here are the gentilest reminders for those who might be wanting to predict this week having already done so this season.

Edit to Revise the Top Twenty for the Total Crowd

Full confession here edited to post on Weds morning -

I knew of two mistakes in my first draft of this weeks outcomes post and was still editing the post last night (Tuesday) when Orient scored for us. Then I decided to leave it to put it all right this morning. I must have clicked “reply” at some stage because when I came to finally prepare the post this morning I saw that I had already posted :grimacing:

The mistakes do not have a great impact except for those whose scores were posted incorrectly. I thought the best way to explain this mess was to post an edit with the correct scores and leave the original post below.

I had realised that I had mistranscribed the forecast @PJS as 5678 instead of the actual forecast of the real forecast of 5768. That is corrected in the table below.

@OxfordBlue’s calculation in the original table was wrong - Introducing the ‘Gasroom Average’ into the table was interesting and I didn’t completly deal with the recurrtion risk properly. That has been put right and @OxfordBlues ‘missed by’ column now shows the correct number for the difference between his prediction and the actual attendance.

Apologies all round and especially to @PJS and @OxfordBlue

Top Twenty for the Total Crowd: [5590]

Many congratulations to @our_frank Forecaster of Week for the second match in succession with a very tidy prediction of 5603 which missed the total crowd of 5590 by just 13. Most excellent predicting.

Congratulations to @Bayo, welcome and congratulations to @Monza, congratulations to @DevC; @Robin; @Erroll_Sims; @MindlessDrugHoover; @PJS and @williwycombe - all of whom were within one hundred.

sTop Twenty for the Away Crowd: [861]

Many congratulations to @Glenactico, closest to the number of northern Hatters and missing by only three. Congratulations to @SmiroludyBlue for a single digit miss. Congratulations also to @Ohandybaird; @Bayo; @our_frank; @thecatwwfc; @glasstotallyfull and @DevC who were all within 5% [43.05]

Top Twenty for the Home Crowd: [Calculated 4729]

Many congratulations to @A40, closest and missing by just four, very accurate prediction. Congratulations to @Robin who predction of 4723 missed by just six.
Last season’s first home game against Birmingham City attracted a home support of 4380.

Further congratulations to @our_frank; @Erroll_Sims; @MindlessDrugHoover; @Ryan_W_Kirkby; @Bayo; @Monza and @Twizz who were all within one hundred with their predictions for our home support.

Thanks, as ever, @railwaysteve. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts - i.e. until Saturday, when I’ll doubtless be thousands out again.

Hi Steve,

I am possibly going to do myself out of some points here and give @williwycombe a boost. I think in your average attendance table you have my 117 and @williwycombe 90 mixed up. So I have his 90 and he has my 117 from this game.
