I put myself forward for a cricket match next Sunday and now I won’t have to cancel.
We’re not in the same division as Wrexham next season, so will be easier to avoid all the BBC Hollywood love-in articles
I’m at a wedding next Sunday so a final on that day at 1pm really wasn’t ideal. Still would’ve taken it, mind…and hats off to the 1,600 Chairfolk.
Being told that my eyes are deceiving me and that Dodds knows what he’s doing - it’s just that I don’t know football well enough…
I might be wrong but I think that we’ve seen this before with Southgate. After it’s all over, the people using terms such as bedwetters go extremely quiet…
The massive plus for me was the desire and determination the players showed after a horrible end to the season. I think it was a performance to be proud of. Whatever happens off the field and whatever the tactics deployed on it, I always want to feel the players wearing blue and blue are 100% commited.
I’m also quite looking forward to the absolute meltdown next season when we play Luton. Half the support calling Blooms Judas, the other half chanting his name. Could get really weird.
Getting Lu’on on the opening day and smashing them would be lovely
I thought you said you don’t get to many games anyway.
Agreed, Rav should always start, no questions asked
For reasons previously explained?
However, the path to a starting place for Anders was restricted when Taylor and Bradley were playing so well that even Low couldn’t regain his place.
Seeing how much the players/back room staff appreciated the support.
Really impressed with efforts Bradley, Grimmer, Leahy, Simons, Humphreys, McCleary, Vokes, & couple of other backroom staff (apologises if missed anyone) made to get over to the away end, when they were clearly so gutted about losing.
We won’t have to queue for two hours at Webley Stadium station thanks to Chiltern Railways’ ineptitude.
And what part of my post contradicts that? Seeing as you’re so interested, I’ve been paying for a season ticket for years that I was rarely using because I wanted the club to have the money. I cancelled it when they forced Blooms out and haven’t been back since. Does this meet your standards?
Agreed. I don’t blame those who couldn’t. Their safety was at risk and clearly police were advising them to leave. The gesture from those players/staff who did was very welcome.
Disappointing that the behaviour of a few idiots prevented us thanking the squad (many of whom won’t play again) for an excellent season.
Sadly I don’t think you’re the only one who has done that.
I admire your optimism but with Low likely to leave this summer it may have been beneficial to give him some game time, or at the very least a spot on the bench.
The January transfer window was shockingly bad.
Anders path to the first team may have been blocked by settling in, illness, other players form, astronomy and a variety of other things but the fact he’s nowhere near the standard and was bought from a suggestion from an agent trying it on is just as likely. Really hope we don’t find out the agents offering us the range of weak, unfit and unsuitable players we signed were offering any endorsement.
The Blooms game next season will be like the game at Barnet after the Pierre incident but times a thousand.
Bought a load of players we don’t pick and ruined several of our best assets, impressive work
That’s your choice, personally I prefer to support the club irrespective of who owns or manages it (except in the unlikely event that we ever employ Joey Barton).
Yes, it is my choice. So why were you trying to start a fight over it?
