Just took my 93yr grandmother to vote, she’s registered blind. In a very loud voice she said, “which box for no more threads about Rice and Bloomfield?” A cheer went up from the waiting voters.

I would genuinely ban everyone on the gasroom if it brought Shev back.
The worst person we could possibly lose was Shev.
Although Alan P getting pretty much bullied off the forum was a real low point too.

The way some people treated Tom was pretty awful too.
At least he relished the battle and could certainly take people on too.
AP not surprisingly eventually just got sick of it.
Alan P was always vigorously defending the Trust and then the Couhigs, regardless of what they did and he deserved respect for that. I suspect he would find it difficult doing so with the conduct of Rice and Co.
My opinion was he could more than hold his own in any conversation/debate/argument.
I think AP just got bored with the Bloomfield/Rice arguments. I have a feeling that quite a few of us took some time away.

It certainly would be good to have Shev and AP back but not sure AP was bullied off. People may have disagreed with some of his comments but isn’t that the whole point of a forum. Perhaps he just got fed up.

Hopefully that is all behind us now and it would be good to have Shev and AP back on the Gasroom. I always thought you were pretty close to Shev Doc? Maybe you could reach out to him?

Given the sweeping gains made by Reform in all parts of England, from the Council election results so far, they hardly need defending, they are clearly the popular choice for large parts of the electorate.
The Green Party, despite some more modest gains, appear to be alienating many voters with their apparent intention to turn the UK into an Islamic state.
But what is absolutely clear, is that both Labour and the Tories are in big trouble, and the days of a two-party hegemony are long gone.
