I very much doubt this will happen, but if Data Dan got desperate and bit the bullet on Dodds, who should he install as coach for the play-offs? The obvious shout would be Sam Grace, perhaps with Sam Vokes assisting. But could A.N. Other pick up the poison chalice and turn it into a winner’s trophy?
This 100% won’t happen.
Matt Bloomfield.
Bodger the mascot couldn’t do any worse
Martin O’Neill for the last 2 or 3 games.
Just to end this exhausting season with a warm glow.
Sadly irrelevant as it won’t happen.
Anyone would do, just can’t look/listen to the bloke any more.
If he stays, playoffs are a lost cause.
mIkE dODdS oF COurSe!
I would say more chance of Dan Rice being sacked than Dodds.
He seems to have made so many mistakes as interim chairman from Harlington to the January transfer window, from Bloomers to Scott Mitchell, from Dodds to ??? What’s next Dan?
Dan said “The new kit for next year is going to be red, because blue is so last year, and it’s my favourite colour”.
I’d replace Dodds with a Danish man I’ve never heard of
How many of these pointless threads are going to be started. We don’t own the club, we’re in the playoffs, he will get at least until Christmas next term (probably).
Yup - won’t happen, and as much as I’m not a fan of Doddsball, I wouldn’t want us to be the type of club that is so knee-jerk and alarmist.
Ainsworth had time to make his mistakes, as did Bloomfield.
Dodds deserves the same, as sceptical as I am of results to date.
I suspect we will see a very active summer window, how much input Dodds will get into signings I don’t know, but I’m not sure how productive it is to carry such a bloated squad including so many players that barely ever make the bench, let alone the first team.
Out of all the out-of-work bosses, Rob Edwards. He’d have been my second choice after Schumacher.
Most important though, is to get rid of Rice.
Sam Grace for the play offs. Absolutely no idea after this.
We’re in the play-offs because of Dodds. If we win promotion, it will be in spite of him. Flights of fancy on the manager exist because there’s hope. Without hope, there’s only…Doddsball.
Anyone.
The atmosphere now at this club is so toxic that a change is necessary.
Whether that’s Grace/Vokes, Ainsworth, Bloomfield, O’Neill, Rasmus Bertelsen, Neil Warnock, me, Dan Rice or the tea lady you simply have to.
The only way this side has any chance now is if something changes.
You did win the Premier League for Leicester City so you’ve got my vote.
No, we’re in the playoffs despite of Dobbs
Hmm. Had he been around longer, we probably wouldn’t have even made top six. But it was a three horse race when he arrived. I believe we were four points behind Birmingham and four above Wrexham. Had the club backed Bloomfield, there was every chance we could have finished in the top two. But Desperate Dan and Doleful Dodds have delivered fifth with a playbook as inspiring as genital warts.
