Who's staying and Who's going?

Hair replacement surgery, it’s obv being paid too much at Charlton

If we go up, I want number 28 back…He would have a role to play with Magnus in the squad as we lose Cam

I understand a daily application of chicken shit does wonders!

Vardy has offers from the MLS and most likely in the Championship/lower Premier League. If anyone can get him it will be Wrexham but he does not fit our model.

Do we have a “model” tho? I thought we were approaching players from a data perspective now?
I understand that Vardy wouldn’t be an option under Ainsworth or Bloomfield’s personal approach but I have a feel thing Rice et al. would be tempted to throw something his way if he was interested

Are his numbers that good this season?

Remember the old fashioned model - Are they better players than we have already, do they look a good fit for our existing team and have potential. Stone age stuff probably now. Let’s count how many yards they ran and interceptions they made in a completely different team and league instead. Makes much more sense…

And give them half a season and a summer before playing them…possibly?

I really never bought that argument that we are prepping next season, we’ve had ups and downs, highs and lows since January, lots of the new signings have played a little or a lot, regardless of where they came from, how does 6 months not playing competitive matches improve anyone?

You can only have 11 on the pitch at any time! One of the Danes has, or had, a serious illness so was unavailable as well

I find it crazy that there is a suggestion that Josh Scowen, who was tearing up MOTM awards and in a team at the top of the table, might leave as he does not fit the new style of play. (One poster even suggesting one of the Danes who has had about ten minutes on the grass could replace him!) Can we have the old style of play back…the one where Humphries and Kone were scoring as well?

I agree. While Josh hasn’t felt like the same Josh as previous years, he would still always be in my first XI so any thought of wanting him to leave are madness.

@Shev - do you have any MoM stats for him for the first half of the season? If my memory is right, it didn’t feel like he was hitting quite the same heights under the ‘old’ system as he had in previous years

Scowen was having his usual blistering start until the first injury, and then Kone took over and disappeared into the distance.

There’s no one else in the squad that does what he does.

A bit mad we have a huge squad and both him and Harvie have no direct replacement.
