Not sure what Christ has to do with it but your use of ‘dust’ to describe the large wet dollops of snow that fell the other night and then froze as the sky cleared is a complete misnomer. The very wet snow formed an icy crust which was much more difficult to clear away (especially on cars) than ‘proper’ snow.
But I’m reasonably sure that it won’t have been beyond the wit of of club staff, volunteers etc to spread industrial salt on the icy crust.
