I don’t understand how this can be so difficult to police & manage by the club? Surely a big sign at the beginning of Hillbottom Road & smaller (but visible) signs all the way down the road need to be displayed highlighting that noone (except for P&R buses & Emergency Vehicles) will be allowed to use the road until 6:15pm (3pm Kick-offs) or 22:15pm (Evening kick-offs). This should be on confirmation emails, emails advertising the games and to all ST Holders. Do that until October and everyone gets the message. Opposition clubs need to do the same when they are selling tickets.
Everyone who rents out their office space / car park for games HAS to sign up to this. Otherwise, what’s the point? Increase the CCTV down that road, anyone who is driving on the road before this time gets reported to the Police.
Has the club worked will all of the businesses down that road? Are they all aware?
