I have been guilty of posting in the past that the OG are not interested in the history of our club. This excellent piece of work and other birthdate initiatives are being promoted by the clubs’ on-line channels today (along with quid a kid at half term), so, credit where it is due, perhaps they have a soul after all.

I appreciate that would not be a small amount of money to give one to each player (or their descendents/families).

I wonder if we’ll have a hall of fame sometime to go alongside it. I don’t recall seeing on by the club previously.

First it’s was 1884, then 1887 now their is concrete evidence a Wycombe Wanderers was about in 1876.

A great bit of work. For me, the names start to become real players I saw from around the 950 mark. So many I’d forgotten though.
