Is Cameron Stones injured or is he full time now with the senior squad? If so, he should surely soon be getting a seat on the bench.
That’s a very good question. I wonder if when you sign a full time contract you’re no longer eligible for the academy.
You’d think if that was the case that he must be injured. His “Leyton Orient” mate, Arthur Gregory , seems to get regular starts for the academy team but then I don’t think he’s signed a professional contract. Easing teenage players into match squads is a tricky business. Giving Gregory a start in the EFL Trophy at Northampton proved to be a bridge too far for the lad and wouldn’t have done anything for his confidence. I hope we see Cam Stones getting a few substitute minutes before too long.

Yes, indeed. Let’s hope he gets some regular minutes, although I’m not sure that the U18s play that many competitive matches.

So he can link up with the future first-team players after the OG gets rid of everyone at the end of this season!
