How does McCallum look, Steve?

57’ Savage replaced by Stones who immediately has the ball in the net but offside.

McCallum looks very good, the pick of the Academy boys.

74’, Slough get the ball in the net but offside.

Fink just wide with a header, pouring with rain now.

FT 1-1, even game, now for penalties.

Whey, well done lads. Sounds like the worst ever penalty shoot out but we’ll take it. Bring on the grand finale! :trophy:

We will be playing Hungerford who beat Reading 4-3!

Fink may have found his level but perhaps not on penalties.

@StevePeart Thankyou for keeping us updated - not only with the B&B cup but for all of the academy news and our brilliant ladies team as well - it is very much appreciated

At least Hungerford is in Berks or Bucks unlike a few teams in the comp.

Is the final at Slough’s ground too? I think 14th April?

Why on earth Fink didn’t take it round the keeper in the first half is beyond me, when he was outside of his area. Aside from his goal, I’m afraid doesn’t look like he will make the grade based on tonight. Mind you, Ali Al Hamidi was poor against Long Crendon and eventually it clicked for him so there is hope yet.

I was very impressed with number 4, Matton. Left sided centre back who I’d rather see in the first team than Taylor!!

Certainly some exciting prospects among our young lads.

Very enjoyable evening despite (or because of?) the intense wind and rain blowing straight across the pitch towards the Wycombe fans.

Although he wasn’t outstanding tonight, something about Arthur Gregory says he’s likeliest to make it in the game. Olabiyi played well down the right too and McCallum looks decent.

Don’t see a future for the big number 9.

Am I right in thinking that the big number 9 is Bradley Fink and not Cameron Stones? Jolly well hope so!!
