You might (or might not) be interested to learn that this is a great example of a rather avant-garde composition style called 24-tone composition. Also, it slaps.

Heilung are a band I’d love to see live, along with Myrkur and Anna von Hausswolff but I don’t often get out of Oxford for gigs these days. I an imagine they’re quite a spectacle.

It was one hell of an experience. Brixton Academy, standing. The human bone flute, the blood drum, pagan ritual and by the end I’m dancing with fellow cultists/audience members possibly having reawakened the spirit of a long dead ancestor last seen in the Black Forest three millennia ago.
This is absolutely my kind of music.
mrs micra and I have followed the musical career of Alex Clarke since she first appeared as a shy young reeds player at the Pershore Jazz Festival nearly ten years ago. We have happy memories of those days. We enjoyed seeing the proud delight of her lovely parents who mrs micra thinks live near Wycombe.
Dave Green (bass), Steve Brown (drums) and David Newton (piano) are jazz royalty so it’s really made our day to discover that Alex has made it to the highest level possible in British jazz.

I assume it’s available in the UK, but The Bear have released a standalone prequel episode, which features all the things i love about the show, and confirms Eben Moss-Bachrach as one of my favourite current actors.

I went out of my way to open a Disney+ account this evening to have a look at what rocks @Floyd 's boat. I wish I hadn’t bothered but Disney+ has been added without charge to my Sky package so there may be other shows that have greater appeal. It wouldn’t be difficult!

If you didnt know that you nay also have missed HBO max is added aswell, which comes with tnt sports being streamed.
Saving that as a weekend treat.

Whatever floats your effing boat. The sadly impoverished language in the opening few minutes of “Gary” (title of this prequel) was enough to deter me from giving the show a chance.

Thanks Ben. For my sins, I’m a BT subscriber for broadband, digital voice (formerly known as landline) and TNT and won’t be going anywhere at this juncture. We’re familiar with HBO, largely as a result of becoming hooked about a decade ago on a rather corny and ultimately over predictable comedy show featuring Larry David.
Just remembered - Curb Your Enthusiasm. And we did !!
Just confirming the HBO Max app with TNT is free on some sky packages, similar to the free Disney plus. I didn’t realise until I logged in to the app on tv.
(Sort of free, still pricey).
And I do think Curb is pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Its no Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which people dont watch, and is the greatest comedy show of all time. A hill i will die on.
