I didn’t realise until quite recently that John Kane, who wrote Terry and June, played Tommy, the somewhat simple caretaker, in Dr Who & the Planet of the Spiders, Jon Pertwee’s final story.
That’s my thrilling fact for today.

Our consumption of the wonderful Curb had simply reached saturation point. We never used to watch Terry and June. No idea what Severance is about (or what genre) but I’ve a feeling our daughter watches it so I suspect it’s pretty dark.

The first single I bought was Sylvia by Focus and Partick Thistle are playing it tonight, as they do every game. Good memories.
Great tune and band. Much better than my first single, which was Monster Mash by Bobby Boris Picket and the Cryptkickers.

Indeed! I hadn’t thought of that but I think we’re on safe ground unless he feels a compulsion to explore the wider orbit of @kim_il_swan 's Gasroom output. He’s in his late twenties so I think we can assume he’s been there, done it and got the T shirt!
As long as he stays away from the box labelled ‘Japanese miscellany’ he’ll be fine.

I went to a comic convention once. I thought the whole affair was kinda cute until I found the stall specialising in Japanese cephalopod art.
I haven’t looked at a squid ring the same way since.
