Talking of rather lovely things that have stayed together a long time, I saw System 7 live last month. Great to see a duo that have been together, as both musical and romantic partners, since meeting as part of the Gong band/commune over fifty years ago, still having such a great time making music, performing and being together.

I saw a band last week you might enjoy in a very different vein - Plague Pit, from Bristol. Wonderfully malevolent sludgecore.

I found this quite amusing…
A farmer buys a young Cock for studding. As soon as he gets it home, it mates with all 150 of the farmer’s hens. The farmer is impressed. By lunchtime, the Cock has gone around all 150 hens again.
