Only time I ever saw them live was supporting The Mighty Lemon Drops back in 1986/87 or thereabouts. Are they still as good without Clint Mansell? Ich Bin Ein Auslander seems even more potent now than it did back then.
Translates to “I am a foreigner” - released in 94. One of many brilliant songs which question society and attitudes!
Clint Mansell was awesome but they are still brilliant without him.

Ah Clint Mansell. I remember when the film Requiem for a Dream came out, in fact, I was still living with my parents in Wycombe at the time. Brilliant film.
Lux Aeterna - the song everyone has heard of and no one knows its name. What a piece of a music.
Is Fuzz Townshend still with them or is he too busy fixing buses? I quite liked some of his solo work.

Watched the Danish adaption of the books a couple of years ago. Sadly I don’t have Netflix but will make a note to watch if I ever subscribe.

Yes, Whycombe. As a “local” for half a century, I’ve heard that pronunciation many times and I’ve a feeling that Rob Couhig or a member of his family may have used it when they first arrived on the scene. Never heard anyone chant ‘up the Wyke’ though.
We thought Roy Wood was excellent. Not surprised to learn that he has been fronting the American version on CNN since last September.
@Erroll_Sims: mrs micra and I are also enjoying Carl Morpe (can’t remember actor’s name). We’ve obviously had to adjust to the ubiquitous use of the F word !!

Forget the music first Friday of June - remember its national fish and chip day today. Meaning one thing Fish and chips. The one at AP atmo isnt bad gravy… yum!
