Great story, this. He took over as manager of struggling Farsley Celtic in February, they get demoted several tiers to Northern Counties East League due to various off-field issues, so Stocko steps up to buy the club! Fair play, and as a resident just down the road I plan to check out his project whenever I can this season. Love to see a footballer love the game this much that they put back into it with likely very little return.

Stockdale has just withdrawn Farsley Celtic from the league. It looks like that club is a complete mess but hopefully Stockdale will be able to build this club up from the bottom
