Any dates knocking about for these yet? Or at least which is the home and away of Reading and Rovers?

2026/27 Round Dates

The round dates for the EFL Trophy have been confirmed as the following:

  • Group Stage: From early September

  • Round of 32: w/c 7 December

  • Round of 16: w/c 11 January

  • Quarter Finals: w/c 15 February

  • Semi Finals: w/c 8 March

  • Final: Sunday 11 April

Tuesday 18th. August, you are away at the SCL KO 7pm. I hope you don’t mind if I don’t wish you good luck on this occassion.

Yeah these are absolutely scandalous kick off times. Please can someone explain why they are at 7pm?

I notice an increasing number of National League sides dropping out of their version of this competition. I wish we’d do the same.

I’ve always thought it was to encourage younger supporters to come along.

But it doesn’t. My lad is 8 and won’t be going as he still won’t be able to get to bed at a reasonable time. And I won’t be going as I can’t get there in time!
