Arguably tomorrow represents the best chance to end our appalling home record versus Luton. Our excellent home record this season, combined with the Hatters’ dismal recent away form provides plenty of reason to feel optimistic. But to succeed will require overcoming 33 years’ worth of history.
Since winning promotion to the football league in 1993 we’ve entertained Luton 14 times at AP. We have yet to record a single victory. That’s a staggeringly bad record.
