Maldon had Freddie Sears up-front (their match winner) with Macauley Bonne (WHAT?!) and ex-Col Ewe veteran Anthony Wordsworth on the bench. Not too shabby.
Bloody ridiculous handing out the numbers before the draw.
Is our collective patience now so low that we cannot bear the wait between number and team announcement?
It completely removes the drama and tension from the spectacle.
Get it back on the radio only on a Monday lunchtime I say.

Did briefly hope for a draw and a replay in my part of the world, then remembered that I think it’s extra time and penalties. Ho hum.
You always want to avoid a team you play in the league, ideally drawing an interesting non league club.
But at least it’s at home.
Needless to say, but Plymouth fans are as enthusiastic about this tie as we are.
At least we’re at home and should be back for tea and biscuit before 6pm.
