Fans forum Thursday 20th of November

Thank you for that, Alan
I appreciate the idea of holding the two on the same evening however we are then back to the fact that in theory at least those of us who are intending to go to both may find themselves walking out of the trust meeting but unable because of the ridiculous ballot to get into the Caledonian suite for the fans forum evening.
Beyond bizarre

@Mr67 I suspect that with the Fans Forum being streamed, the demand for seats may not reach capacity. My understanding is that the club wanted it to be accessible to all fans rather than just first come first served. The ballot will only come in if interest exceeds capacity.
The WWST AGM needs an audience to be quorate.

My views by now on the “ballot “for the forum evening are well known.

The points I will make are :
1/ no mention of the ballot in the spiel advertising the event. It’s only when you try and book are you met with this potential barrier
2/ no mention of the criteria of the ballot. I would be most interested to find out how they work out who will be chosen and who will not be as it’s obviously not first come first served are they going to go into the demographic or more sinisterly the comments made on the various club platforms to root out who they want and who they don’t want
3/ you rightly say that you can watch it online They will have no way of knowing if anyone who doesn’t make the “cut “ is willing /able to access the evening online.
4/ the decision day is only 48 hours before the event.

I standby my assertion that it is an unnecessary unfair and frankly ridiculous way of organising such a meeting.
These comments will probably relegate me to the below the cut for the event.

Surely only if you’ve registered as “Mr67” on the ballot?

Mr67 is a well known celebrity!

Beware of imitations

I understand security on the night will be as tight as your average HMP

Arrive by drone and just walk straight out then …

I’m finding all the comment about a ballot slightly curious. I saw the Forum advertised on the WWFC website, applied for a ticket as instructed, and received it online straight away. No mention of a ballot.

Obviously you’re a VIP.

You’ll probably be fine if it’s HMP Wandsworth

That’s interesting. I have the copy of the email indeed several emails.from the club regarding this
Thanks for that. I’m gonna get back to them.

Following your post, I did two things I sent an email to the club querying the matter and I went back onto the site and attempted to book a place again. At the second attempt, I managed to download a ticket.!
However, Ryan got back to me to say that no one is guaranteed a ticket at this stage !
Make of that what you will what I make of it is it’s a complete shambles

Hopefully all who applied have now been sent their tickets
