Something’s not right with the calendar, for sure
I’ve been on here long enough to know that our biggest opponents are…
Ourselves
I wonder how many of the fixtures will end up being re-scheduled?
trying to work out when we will clinch the title.
Bradford at home on Easter Monday would be nice
Bradford away might well be where some say the season is over.
Not anyone worth listening to
The first ‘must win’ of the season?
Must be an error, all the opposition teams are league one sides.
I’m watching the Wrexham TV documentary and we’re comfortably in 2nd place, superior goal difference and a game in hand.
Some have said that last week
I fancy Reading to get off to a flyer and end up runners up to Luton so Rob will be the Messiah!
Looking at the international weekends it looks like Port Vale away will likely be moved as potentially Cardiff away and worst of all Orient away might end up being shifted to midweek. Shame being as that’s one of only a handful of “local” games. Too many fixtures up t’north.
| Dates | Fixtures | MATCH |
|---|---|---|
| 1–9 September 2025 | World Cup qualifying | HOME - Mansfield |
| 9–14 October 2025 | World Cup qualifying | AWAY - Wigan |
| 13–18 November 2025 | World Cup qualifying | AWAY - Port Vale |
| 26–31 March 2026 | World Cup qualifying play-offs / friendlies | HOME - Port Vale |
I think these are the games that could move for internationals. Selfishly, I hope the home game vs. Mansfield is moved as I’ve got a ticket for the England game at Villa park at 5pm
It is on the Disney Channel. Their stuff is often historically inaccurate.
All.this means to me is that the group will soon be on the grass, a Mike Dodds team, all there to contribute in creating those big moments at both ends of the pitch.
That’s exciting enough.
Fingers crossed the Orient game is unaffected.
Someone enjoying a quiet summer’s day could research whether any internationals play for Port Vale or Mansfield. We’ve lost one in Joe Low of course, leaving only Kone and Bartolo as current players who have received an international call-up IIRC.
9th of August baby
Caolan Boyd-Munce has 2x Northern Ireland caps
The WC qualifying play offs are 26&31 March so I should think the games impacted would be those on the weekend of the 28th. Orient away should be alright.
