I remember playing that version as a free demo CD that was in a cereal box! (God that makes me sound old!)
CM 01/02 was as good as it got.
CM2 for me (96/97 I think)
Simple, easy to play and addictive
By the sound of things on here most of you are not going to be enticed by the latest football offering on Steam. @railwaybeth suggested to me that I watch the video.
However, it could presage our future, it does look terrifically data driven.
Oh did not expect this to appear on the Gasroom
there’s a TV Show of Inazuma Eleven, Its very not data driven
I speak passable Japanese and I spent some time there in uni, so I always keep an eye out for interesting Japanese bits and bobs lol . Inazuma Eleven is a delight imo . But for sure , it’s not a Dan Rice take on football even though lots of numbers fly in the air in the game trailer ![]()
I love this movie. The original Chinese subtitles are brilliant.
I love the fact the bad guys are called ‘Evil Team’.
Finally got around to finishing a season.
I was 10 points clear at the top of league one going into December, having not lost in the league. Ended up finishing 10th.
The league was won by Stockport on 78 points (a record low) and Northampton finished on 9 points, with no wins all season, relegated in March.
I didn’t bother to take a screenshot because the UI didn’t let me fit the full league table on my screen in one go.
Sadly it’s definitely the worst Football Manager of all time in virtually every way. Playing it was only a slightly worse experience than watching Doddsball.
sadly it seems to be nothing more than a long beta for FM27.
I’m enjoying it. It’s not the best game of the series sure and they have taken several steps back, but the potential of the FM series is now significantly larger post change than it was by the end of FM24.
FM24 felt like it was at the end of the games life with only small steps, FM26 feels like there’s could go on another ten years with big steps each year.
Promoted us to the championship in my first year, lost in play offs in my second year, offer the Dortmund job but rejected it. Offered the job at Real San Sebastián mid way through my 3rd season and packed my bags for Spain.
