Aaron Pierre to Eastleigh.
“…there haven’t been many fallouts” is an interesting comment, if correctly reported. In fact, following a reread, that whole paragraph (comment by MD), if accurately reported, is rather oddly worded.
Football managers (& head coaches) and players are generally recruited on the basis of their football ability/knowledge rather than because they are eloquent.
I’m generally quite surprised when I can understand the majority of any interview I watch or see reported.
It all went downhill after Scotty’s on pitch saying something about “early doors”, when we first won the Trophy. To me it should be “early days” but I know that shows my age.
Doesn’t early doors come from British theatres and pubs?
It was a big Ron gaffe that got picked up by Soccer AM then it became part of the vernacular. It is used unironically these days it seems.
Brody Peart post-match interview after scoring for Tonbridge Angels today, in the 2-2 draw at Leatherhead. He said he will continue traning at Wycombe, as well as at Tonbridge.
Kodua to Luton. Can’t say I like this.
I’d like it less if I was a Luton fan.
I think he was underused even under Bloomfield, but I can see the logic. Dodds must not rate him. He’ll do alright for them.
I agree. He’ll do very well.
I’m not sure Dodds picks who we sign and a bit like Chem before you probably don’t go for a third spell when he hasn’t produced a lot, but I agree he is a talent and should have played more at times last season. I think he’ll do well, a bit of pace off the bench is certainly something that would have been welcome last night. With other clubs making 5 subs every game now if you tire you are handing the opposition the advantage.
Did you guys know that Bayo will be on the next series of SAS: Who dares wins on Channel 4? The first episode is on the 3rd Aug 14 celebrities confirmed for all-star cast in "gruelling" new season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins
Be interesting to see how his knees hold up. I assume Beery Nige is too busy .
De Barr again standing out as Lincoln Red Imps narrowly lost to Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda.
Bayo sharing a bivouac in the rain with Louie Spence will be must see tv.
Two questions. Who is Louie Spence and will they both fit in a bivouac?
A dance coach at Pineapple Dance Studios made famous by reality tv in the 2000s, and yes.
And to clarify, he is a different person to Lewwis Spence
